A Leper Chapel in Ripon
Held at 10.00am
2nd Wednesday in month (reflection followed by compline)
In summer we are open in the afternoon
In Autumn/Winter by arrangement
The Chapel was brought back into use in 1989, after a long period of time in the wilderness. It has a loyal band of supporters and a steady congregation maintaining the worship of the past 900 years. While it is a grade 1 list building it is not a museum. It has a beating heart maintaining its original ethos by having strong links with the Leprosy Mission team.
If you understand, things are just as they are.
